Volunteer Reception Center in Flint

American Red Cross, United Way of Genesee County, and Michigan Community Service Commission are working together to operate the volunteer center. The location is at the American Red Cross office, 1401 S. Grand Traverse St., Flint, MI. Contact Victoria at 517-599-4422.

Hours of Operation

  • 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday
  • Noon-5 p.m. Sunday

Activities Needed

Help with the distribution of water, water filters, replacement cartridges and water testing kits.

Volunteers should be available for at least three hours and will receive a brief training and orientation. Door to door visits will only be conducted by persons 18 years of age and older. Persons 13-17 are welcome with an attending parent or guardian working in the center.
